Hidden items in Biological Weapon (Industrial Sewage) Plant level
Note the fan at the beginning of the Biological Weapon (Industrial Sewage) Plant level. Shoot it (you can not use a button) to collect some hidden items.

Hidden room
Once you have reached the end level (The Sewer), kill everything in the first area. Get to the next area with the zombie standing on the ledge. There is a boarded up door at this location. Punch the door and press B to enter a secret room that contains weapons, such as a dual hand gun. Note: A zombie is in the room, off to the right side.

Elixir
Immediately after you enter the House Of The Dead, fight the zombies. Kill them then, go to the stairs. Press the Y on the wall to open a hidden passage that leads to the Elixir.

Climb into train
On the train level, press Y on the second carriage somewhere along the right-hand side and you can climb into the train.

Infinite double team moves
Knock out the ref by hitting him with a weapon twice. If done correctly, a message stating "The Referee Is Knocked Out" will appear. "Double Team" will now light up in different colors. You can now perform double teams moves as many times as desired.

Avoid attacks
Hold Block and repeatedly press the D-pad in all directions. Your wrestler will dodge every time your opponent punches or grapples, and an opening will eventually appear.

Knock The Referee Out
Use a weapon and hit him twice. If you can pull this off you will get a message stating "The Referee Is Knocked Out". You then have 10-15 seconds to beat the daylights out of your opponent without hassle from the referee.

Ladder matches
Complete the royal rumble on difficulty 5 without continuing.

Secret Character
Complete the game in exhibition mode with all the player to get the Dudley Boyz.

Different Background
You can change the Background by entering the Ranking Section and viewing every section. When you return to the Main Menu you will have a different background image. Continue to do these steps and the backgrounds will change every time.

Trading Trick
It's pretty well known that trading in WSB2K2 is pretty darn strict, but there's a pretty neat little trick to get all the trading you want. Go into season mode and when you select the number of players, select the maximum 30. Now, you can have full control of every team allowing you to make all the trades you want for any team.

Perfect Pickoffs
Do the pickoff move. Then, as fast as possible (start selecting the "pitch" BEFORE the graphic even comes up), do the pickoff move again (try over if you must). If you do it fast enough, the runner will not lead off far enough, and will OVERRUN the bag coming back! Position your infielder over him, and he will be tagged out... every time. Great for "correcting" those fielding blunders we make sometimes. [Qualifiers: I have only tried this, so far, on the "Pro" level and against a CPU opponent.]

Stealing Bases Easly
While a runner is on base make him lead off right before the pitcher is ready to pitch it like when he let's go of the ball repeatly press the X button on your controller he will be able to steal 2nd, or third easly you got to be quick.

Hidden Options
At the team selection screen, press X to display an options screen that allows you to change such things as the difficulty, weather, stadium, and time of game.

Reset The Count
While batting with a runner on any base, have the runner attempt a steal. Either go through with the steal or send him back. Quickly press Y before the view returns to your batter to reset the count to no balls and strikes.

Intentional Walk
After you select your pitch, move your cursor away from the batter and press Y.

Bean The Batter
After you select your pitch, move your cursor towards the batter and press Y.

Harder Swing
Before the pitcher makes his selection, press R. When the pitch is thrown, your cursor will become small. If you hit the ball it will either be a home run, or a very hard hit.

Easy Homeruns
Use the cursor and put it exactly in the low middle.

Fight vs. AJIM / Play as AJIM
To battle AJIM, you must have a time limit set (not on Death Match). Win the first one or two fights by gaining a health advantage and then letting the time expire. When an upward-pointing arrow appears over your next opponent as the round begins, AJIM will descend, destroying your erstwhile challenger and attacking. This will happen usually by the third battle. AJIM is very tough to beat, so pick your best character and hang in there. To control AJIM, you must challenge and defeat him as described (can't win by time-over). After beating AJIM, finish the game by completing all missions and destroying TANGRAM. Now, you have to set the clock in BOTH your DC and your VMU to February 15-30, 2000. Any month after Feb. is also fine, but AJIM is only available when your clock reads the last half of any month later than January, 2000. To select AJIM in any mode, go to the Random Select icon and hold both Turbos. AJIM will appear and can be chosen.

Arcade 5.2 Mode
To play the very first version of Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram, finish the game with every character. Then, Arcade Mode 5.2 will be selectable at the main menu. The main differences include a different look to the Public Port level, as well as character weapon changes (i.e. Angelan can shoot 3 ice shields).

Special CG Ending
To get the Special CG Ending, finish the game with each character in Dreamcast 5.45 mode without continuing. When you do this with the last character, the Special CG Ending will play.
Note: You don't have to finish the game with Ajim for the Special CG Ending to play. Also, if you're having problems with the last boss, plug a 2nd controller and if you're dying at the last boss, press the Start button on Controller 2 to challenge yourself. This doesn't affect the code to get the Special CG ending.

Secret Bal Bados Weapon Vs Tangram
When playing Bal Bados against Tangram (the last boss), Bal Bados has a secret "Black Hole Bomb" that can be only performed on Tangram's stage. To use it, eject both of Bal Bados' arms (Left Turbo + Left Weapon attack, Left Turbo + Right Weapon attack), then press both Weapon attack buttons + Right Turbo. Bal Bados' arms will form a energy ball that does 25% damage against Tangram.

Special Alpha Temjin Version
To get the new "Alpha Version" of Temjin in VOOT, beat the game on any difficulty with Temjin in fog mode without continuing. After you finish the game, the game should auto save. Now, go into Dreamcast 5.45 mode and at the Virtuaroid select screen, highlight the following robots in this order and press the Left Turbo button X number of times depending on the robot. The sequence goes like this:

Temjin (once), Random Select (once), Raiden (twice), Bal Bados (twice),
Angelan (twice), Grys-Vok (three times).

You should hear a confirmation sound after you press the Left Turbo button three times on Grys-Vok. Go to Temjin and he should appear in a White and Yellow palette. He controls pretty much the same as regular Temjin, except he's missing ALL his Turbo attacks, he can't air dash, can't "watari" dash.... so essentially, he's Temjin from Virtual On: Cybetroopers, with a double jump and dashing close combat attacks.

Play against Master and King
Successfully complete arcade mode using no continues and without losing a round on the normal difficulty setting to play against Master in singles and Master and King in doubles. This can be easily done if the match is set to one round.

Play as Master
Defeat Master in singles in arcade mode to unlock him in arcade and training modes. To do Master's underarm serve, press A + X + Down while at near court, or A + X + Up while at far court.

Flood the Louisiana stage

Access Japan early

Break the glass at UK Races 1 and 2
You will see a big clock In UK races 1 and 2. Towards the end of the course in race 1, go up the ramp and use a boogie drill or hammer drill to break the glass and save some time. At the start of race 2, go on the right side and get the speed boost. Break the glass by using boogie drill or hammer drill to cut off a sharp turn.

Defeating the UK StuntBowl Boss
Just stay there when the starting countdown ends, then jump and do a 360 in the air. Repeat that. Make sure you do the move while in the air. You will receive 500 points each time. Repeat this until reaching 1500 points. You can also take your time to finish with about 30 seconds.

Special tricks
A globe that resembles a mini-sun is hidden in each level. Find one of the globes, and it will hover next to your board for a short time. Before it disappears hold the L and press B to execute your rider's signature trick. Some signatures must be done in air.

Location of globe in Japan 1
There is a globe fairly close to the beginning of the Japan 1 level. Once you go through the figure eight track in the beginning, there is a section that goes up a wall and down the other side. If you keep to the right and do not go up the wall, you can see a loop-the-loop. Go straight and do not try and turn while in the loop to avoid falling. The globe is right at the top. Be careful, as other trickers can take your globe by touching you.

Score high points
To score very high points, you firstly have to be high in the air. Then do a gyro trick (you have to score an 800 gyro) and then do a backflip, a doubleflip and a tripleflip. Or you could keep doing a handspin or a handflip to get a multiple of 3000 points each time.

Getting on the car
Get on the rafters and you will see a coffee cup. Jump on that, then jump on the lights. You can then jump on the car and get the green laser.

Find the green army men
Begin game play on the Andy's Neighborhood level. After starting, you should see a tractor that will chase you. Do not leave the yard. Turn around and you will see a green army man. Go up the steps and approach him. He will offer a Pizza Planet token to you if you can find all five of his army men. The other army men can be found easier if you see flames.

Hidden tips
Collect 100 or more coins in the first level, Andy's House. Give the coins to Hamm. He will lead you to a room called Woody's Workshop. This room contains more hints and tips about defeating Bosses, etc. Note: If you have already given Hamm 50 coins, this will not work.

Extra lives and energy
If you need extra lives or energy while playing in any level, leave your current location and return to Andy's Neighborhood. Go to the swing and collect the energy. Climb the rope on the tire swing, and walk past Ham. Use targeting to look down at the swing, and line yourself up to jump for the extra life. Switch off targeting and jump. You can repeat this as needed to build up your lives and energy.

Run on the top of the roof
Find all the army men, then climb the house to reach the roof.

Defeating the Wind Up Robot
Shoot him with a charged laser while he is winding up.

Toy Barn encounter
When you reach the Boss of this stage, he will have small carriages surrounding him. Destroy them to complete the level

Defeating the Jackhammer Boss
Get the disk shooter from Mr. Potato Head. Shoot the Boss, but do not allow him get too close to you, or he will shoot out hot bolts.
Note: You must find Mr. Potato Head's eye to unlock and receive the disk shooter. You only receive ten disks that may be used over and over if you return.

Defeating the final Bosses
You have to fight the Gunslinger, the Blacksmith and the Old Prospector in the final level. Defeat them in that order. To defeat the Gunslinger, use lasers. Use the spin for the Blacksmith and the Prospector.

Finding Mr. Potato Head's eye
To retrieve Mr. Potato Head's eye (and receive the disc launcher), keep climbing up the construction site. You will eventually find the eye.

Finding movable objects
Every time you see a green "hand print" floating around, move around and try to push the object. This will help you in many difficult situations.

Battery locations
Start game play on the Bombs Away level and move all the way to the left to find a battery. Then, move all the way to the right to find another batter.
There are four batteries, one in each corner, when finding the batteries for the Zone 1 Boss.

Getting on the trees
Begin game play on the Andy's Neighborhood level. Climb on the swing, then reach the other swing. Move to the tire with a rope. Climb up the rope, then jump on top of the tree. Note: There is a kite Boss at the very top of the tree. When you first get on the tree, HAM will appear. Find 50 coins bring them to HAM to receive a Pizza Planet token.
Climb up the tree in the Andy's Neighborhood level. Try to reach the first swing, and before you continue to journey up, jump on the nearby rope. Later, when you fall off the tree accidentally, you will be able to climb up from the rope, which now becomes a shortcut.

Green laser locations
Green lasers will allow enemies to be killed with a single shot. They can be found at the following locations.

Andy's House: When you go to the garage, find a way to get up to the van. When you get to the top, you will see a green laser.

Andy's Neighborhood: Find your way to the location with a broken car. The green laser should be right in front of you.

Alleys and Gullies: Turn to the right when you see the first airplane box.

Anti-Gravity Sugar Lumps and Flaming Toast
This is not a glitch as such but a clever technicality. What you do is to enter the training mission in the one player mode. Then, play through until you can select the helicopter and fly it to the sugarlumps on top of the jar of chocolate on the table. Pick one up and carry it to one of the gravity-changing ramps at the wall and drop it right at the top of the ramp. If you have it right, the lump will change gravity to stick to the wall.
This alone is quite amusing, but then for something extra, you pick it up again with the helicopter and fly away from the wall. The gravity of the sugar lump is still towards the wall so whenever you let it go, instead of dropping to the floor, it will fly across the room like a missile and stick to the wall again! For something extra, with the car try to push the toast up the ramp as well. You can do this with any object, but with the toast, shoot it a few times to make it burst into flames. Then pull back a bit to observe: A piece of toast flaming while being stuck to the wall.

Skip to last stage
Pause game hold L press R, A, X, B, Y, Y, A.

Railroad rabble shortcut
In this level you have to guide the train on the track. The first thing you should do is get the rocket ammo on top the hill. Second, destroy all of the bad guys under the cabinet. Third, hit only the first switch on the track. Finally follow the trail and shoot at anyone who shoots at the train. If you do all of this quick enough you'll beat the bosses record.

Max Fuel
While playing press B, Y, A, X, B, X when you are playing a mission that uses only 1 vehicle.

Lights Out
To turn the lights out in a level, find the light switch on the wall and touch it with an airborne vehicle (plane or helicopter) or shoot it.

Save explosive ammunition
Save explosive ammunition (grenade launcher, Cross Bolt, etc.) for tougher opponents when fighting the skeletons by using the shot gun against them. Get the skeleton between you and a ledge and blast it. The skeleton will fall off the ledge and cease the exist. Since shot gun ammo is more prevalent in the game than the explosive ammunition, this will allow you to save it times when there are no ledges to help.

Level 1 golden skulls
At the beginning, take a left up the small ledge.
In the room where you make your first jump, drop down into the water and go in the middle of the water.
In the room with the where you have to make two more jumps, fall down at the beginning. Run to the far end and turn to the right.

In the next room where you have to swim -- swim down to the bottom in the center of the room where the floor goes down slightly. Note: There is also a small and large medipack in a back room which is also under water.
In the area with the two boars, go around to the back and find the exit. Do not go in. Instead, turn right and go forward.
In the room where the skeleton has been impaled with the spikes, take a right when you enter.
In the crawl space, go to the left when you enter it.

When you get to the area just past the place where you have to "dive though the gap", go to the right and past the railing.

Note: When Lara gets all eight golden skulls she will chose a different, harder path when Von Croy asks her where she wants to go.

Tip to beat the game
Trying to beat 100 Races is hard, here is a great tip which will never fail. While you are racing your lifebar will go down if you are passed by a rival, whatever amount of life you have left, will remain until you complete 100 races OR run out of energy and lose. Here is a nice tip for Full Energy through all 100 races. If you get passed, just hit Start and Click RETIRE, then RETRY. You will begin where you left off, and you life will be restored. Do this until the end, and you will be unstoppable.

Never log a loss
If you challenge someone who's just way too fast for you, or get challenged by someone like that (one of the Devas showing up early springs to mind) and know you're going to lose, hit start and choose to go back to the main menu. Unlike retiring or getting a draw, the game doesn't register this as a loss. Next time you see that car, they'll still be a blue dot on the map. What does this do for you? Well, if you beat a car when it's still a blue dot (not yet raced), you get 5x the car bonus when you win, as opposed to 4x for cars that you've lost to or drawn with before.

How to get the Type-530
Go into the QR mode and win 100 races without leaving the QR mode. It takes about 2 hours. After you win 100 races, go into the quest mode, load up your game and buy the last car for $30,000.

Behind-Car Replay
At the post-race screen where the game gives you the choices of: main menu, replay, continue racing, or (with VMU)save replay, hold the L and R buttons, select "replay", and push A. The replay will now be from a behind view of your car, instead of from the normal replay cameras.

Car Type 930
To get car type 930, you must first beat the four Devas, all the other cars, and the four Devils. Note that sometimes you must race on the opposite track in order to find them all.

Extra Parts
After beating Quest Mode, you will unlock extra parts under MUFFLERS and AERO. *Muffler #7 will now be selectable. *1 Extra Wing is also added.

Get The 6th ISM Plus:

Hero Garden for Chao
Take a Chao and raise it with a Hero so that it will resemble a Hero. Win a Hero Fruit in the VMU game, then feed it to the Chao. Wait until it cocoons into an angel-like Chao (it will have a halo). Then, take the stairs going up at the Chao Lobby to reach the Hero Garden.

Dark Garden for Chao
Take a Chao and raise it with a Dark character. Feed and train it until it cocoons. After it evolves, stairs will appear at the Chao Lobby. Follow them to reach the Dark Garden.

Hero or Dark Chao
To make a Chao a Hero, simply use a Hero character and keep pressing B or X to pet them. If done long enough, it will go white and be a Hero. To make it Dark, just use a Dark character and do the same thing.

Pumpkin head for Chao
Find one of the Skeleton Dogs; the easiest place to do so is Pumpkin Hill as Knuckles, and combine it with your Chao. As either Knuckles or Rouge, start digging around in the Chao Garden. Eventually a pumpkin will appear. If you give it to the Chao mixed with the Skeleton Dog it will put it on its head. If you want to take it off, either throw or hit your Chao.
You can find pumpkins in the regular and Hero Gardens, and skulls in the dark Garden. Get them by digging as Knuckles or Rouge.

Wake a sleeping Chao
Sleeping Chao are annoying because you cannot feed them. To wake them up, stand next to it and whistle. You do not have to anger them by picking them up during a little nap.

Chao pillow:
Go to a Chao Garden and get a coconut. Then, with a sleeping Chao, pick up the coconut and put it by the its head. The coconut will act as a pillow.

E102 appearance
In Rouge's Inside the Pyramid stage, one of the robots you blow up is E-102.

Kart racing mini-game
Complete Tails' driving quest in the Hero side story to receivethe kart racing mini-game in the Hero side story. Complete Rouge's chase mission in the Dark side story to unlock the kart racing mini-game in the Dark side story.

Egghead Chao!
Just like the pumpkinhead chao, you can also give a chao an egg shell, and he will put it on his head all you have to do is hacth a new unborn chao, then pick up the top part of the shell and give it to a chao that you want to have it, then he will look at it for a few seconds, and then he will put it in his head. Some chao won't even care about them, they will just through it away. If you don't want the eggshell, you have to get it off the same way you do with the pumpkin!

Sonic's Magic Gloves
Make sure you have the bounce attack&Fire sommersault before you pull this off. Go to Sonic's first level and go through until after the huge skyscraper fall. There, you may see a floor made of 4 metal boxes. Bounce on the boxes until you fall through. There, you can have the magic gloves. They don't really come to any good use because there is a risk involved changing your Icon to magic gloves being at a certain distance from the enemy--but it sure is fun!

Knuckles' Mysterious Melody
After you have Knuckles' Shovel claws go to the Wind Canyon level and after you ride the wind to the surface, fly to the lonely Mummy's corner. There you will see an Egyptian picture with the diggable surface in the border. Go and dig in that border and the mysterious melody will be there. Now you can do something with those blue ruins!

Secret Area
On the green forest level (Sonic), near the end there are three wooden crates (the ones near the green-swamp-creature for your chao). Break them and one is on top of another box. But bounce the one in the ground and you will go to a shortcut. It's easier than the regular path.

Air Necklace
To get Knuckles Air Necklace, you must go down the tunnel with a ghost warning sign and a spring at the bottom. You have to be fast underwater or you'll die. Once you have this it makes it possible to find the Lost Chao.

Dupe Chao Warning
For extra Chao, you can put a Chao Egg from SA1 on a memory card and take it out in SA2, but if use use any type of egg besides regular, it might screw up (my Chao became all distorted). Also, it will be a regular chao, not silver, gold, or whatever type of egg you used.

Knuckles Lost Chao
Pumpkin Hill: Use the mystice melody, follow the path.

Unlock Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow
Everybody wants to play as Super Sonic, and now you can. All you need to do is complete "Last Stage?" in story mode, and you'll unlock both Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

Unlock Last Stage
In order to play the actual last stage of Sonic Adventure 2, finish both Hero and Dark side story games. Once done, go into story mode and a "Last Stage?" menu selection should appear between Hero and Dark selections.

Tip: Planting Seeds in the Chao Garden
If you play through the Chao Adventure 2, the VMU game, you will find seeds at the end of some of the quests. These seeds can be taken to the Chao garden and produce rare fruits. In order to plant these seeds, you need to first win the shovel and watering can in the beginner Chao races. As soon as you have won these, take the seed out of the VMU and give it to one of your Chao. The Chao will take it, plant it, do a little dance and a little weed you appear. Eventually, it will grow into a tree that you can use to help improve your Chao stats.

Boss Attack Mode
To unlock Boss Attack mode, complete either Hero or Dark side story modes. You'll be able to fight each boss from either Hero or Dark side.

Eggman's mysteroious melody
To get eggman's mysteroios melody. Go to the sand ocean level then on the first moving platform. Wait until the platform moves to the lefthand side then (with the jet booster) jou fly until you see a platform and fly over to to it and eggman's mysteroios melody will be there. Now you have something to do with those ruions!

Play Catch with S.W.A.T. BOTs
First, you must have the Magic Hands for Sonic. You find them in the "City Escape" level by using the Fire Ring and Bounce attack on four metal boxes.If or when you do, go to the level, "City Escape," then find a S.W.A.T. BOT. Press the Y button until it says "Magic Hands" in the top-right corner, then press B. When you do, the S.W.A.T. BOT will explode and then appear inside of a little clear ball. Pick the ball up and find another S.W.A.T. BOT. Once you do, throw the balled up S.W.A.T. BOT at it. The S.W.A.T. BOT should shoot the ball and the ball will be sent back to you. After 6 or 7 throws, the balled up S.W.A.T. BOT should blow up and die.

Big the Cat Appearances
There are several places in SA2 that you can see Big the Cat from Sonic Adventure. Here are a few of them:

1. City Escape: About 3/4 of the way down when you're running away from the truck look on the right sidewalk to see him running away.

2. Radical Highway: After going in one of the rockets look at the blimp to the left and he will be sitting on it.

3. Pumpkin Hill: Go to the area where the train is stuck (it's going back and forth) and he is behind one of the gates waving to you.

4. Cannon's Core: With Rouge, go to the top of the highest pillar in the main room and look up. He's jumping up and down.

5. When you're battling against Shadow with Sonic in the Green Forest area there is a grate. Look down in the grate and you can see Big fishing.

A Clone of Knuckles
Play through the game (with all the characters) until you get Super Sonic. In Super Sonics Adventure, go to the crashed island. There you see Knuckles and Eggman (Robotnik). After the clip, press A + B + X + Y + Start. Then choose Knuckles. Go to the same place, and there are two Knuckles! This works with other characters, too, but it's not as funny.

Change View in Twinkle Park Race
To change the view in Twinkle Park Race, press UP to toggle between inside, outside, and far out view. This also works when playing the first bumper car portion of the level.

Clean Pause
To remove the pause menu, press X and Y together at the pause menu. This is good if you want to take screenshots.

Easy Emblems as Knuckles
If you are having trouble getting the 1 minute emlems as Knuckles, here is a trick that will make it much easier. Find the first emerald shard, but don't touch it! Instead, pause the game and restart the level. Now run to it as fast as you can. Since the shards act as save-points, find the next one and repeat. Do this until you have all three.

Free Rings
As Tails, go to any place with grass and look for a dark green weed. Wack it with your tail. If you are lucky, a ring or extra life will appear.

Metallic Chao Baby
To get the one-of-a-kind metallic chao baby, go to the waterfall near the subway and look to the right of it. You will see a sort of platform. Go to it and push it. A metallic egg will fall down the waterfall and into the pond. When it reaches the land pick t up and bring it to the nearest Chao sanctuary. Throw it and it will hatch.

One-and-a-Half Play
When you are playing Sonic's action stages and Tails is on the screen, a second player can control Tails with a second controller. Any rings Tails collects will be added to Sonic's totals. Be careful to not make Tails break open any shields, invincibilities or One Up item boxes as those will not be added to Sonic and will be wasted.
This feature may seem trivial to most people, but you'd be surprised how much fun it can be trying to outrun player one (who's playing Sonic) when you're controlling Tails.

PC Wallpaper
If you insert your Sonic Adventure game disc into a PC CDROM drive, you will have access to a directory called "extras". Inside you'll find a number of Sonic Adventure desktop wallpapers you can decorate your PC's desktop with.

Play as Super Sonic
Play through the game with every character and the 7th character "Super Sonic" will be opened. This is the only real way to fight Perfect Chaos, the final boss.

Secret Chao Puzzle Game
After you start up the Sonic Adventure game, place a controller into the D port on your Dreamcast and have a VMS in the controller. A hidden Chao Puzzle game will appear on the VMS screen. It is a tile based puzzle game where you have to use the Dreamcast's controller to move the pieces of a moving picture around to win. After every five puzzles you solve, a little animation will play on the VMS screen.

Sonic Tokens
You can get 5 Sonic Tokens from Chao Race. Just raise a chao then go to the Chao Race chose the first choice and then the place where your chao is. Then chose a crystal and win each one then a 5th one will appear and chose it. If you have trouble finding levels you have beat and want the tokens go to the main options at the chose the second option. You can go to any level you have beaten with out running around for it. This is good if you need to collect more tokens and it tells you which ones you have gotten and where. There are Tokens hidden around the world which shouldn't be to hard to find. I have 114 tokens and missing 6 with Sonic.

Sonic's Snowboard Select
Just before entering the snowboarding part of the ice stage, press X to get Sonic's blue snowboard (previously seen in Sonic 3 and Sonic Triple Trouble). Press B to get Sonic's yellow board (only seen in Sonic Adventure.)

Super Speed with Sonic
If you have trouble beating time trial with Sonic constantly click X or B and you will spin real fast. In some levels you have to do this to beat time trial.

The Black Chao
First, pick a character. I suggest you use Amy, since her jump doesn't hurt chao, but it doesn't matter. Go to the Egg Carrier. Go up near the entrance to the Sky Deck. On the ground you should see a little floating 'elevator'. Jump on it and go below deck. You could also use the monorail if it is running at the time you do this. Once you get below deck, hop down to where the maintenance robots are working. You should see three door. Hop on the button farthest to the right do go in the right door. You should see where Amy plays Hedgehog Hammer. Go past that and enter the 'dungeon'. In the first cell you should see a black speckled egg. That's your chao! Open the cell and take it back to the Egg Carrier Chao Garden.

Unlimited gold eggs
Do the golden chaa egg code in the cheats at this site. Put the gold choa egg in Station Square's chao garden.Turn off Sonic Adventure then turn the game on again. Do the code again. The golden chao egg should be there again. Do this over and over to get more golden chao eggs. You can do this with any character.

Hint
An easy way to get into the Casino as Sonic is to hit the ball above the Casino doors.

Metal Chao
At the waterfall in the ruins, push in the ledge and a metal egg will fall out. Hatch the egg for a metal chao!

Chaos Chao
To get a Chao that looks like Chaos you need to get a regular Chao, and make it rencarnate 3 times. Then after that happens, you must give that Chao every animal in the game, then the Chao should start to evolve. To make sure the code worked sparks of light should start popping out of the Evolution Egg (the egg chaos go into when they mature). NOTE: You cannot alter a Chaos Chaos' appearance no matter how many animals you give it.

Easy way to get Sonic's Bracelet
When you get Sonic's Light Speed Shoes, go to the hotel, and jump right above the man at the desk on the a ledge there will be a door. Go right next to the left side of the door, and start charging up. The beams of the light that go into Sonic when he's charging will hit the switch that opens the door and now you can go in easily. NOTE: This might not work the first time so keep trying.

Copy all Chaos in the Chao Garden
If someone has Chaos that look cool and you want, just load their Chaos from a Memory Card in port 1 of controller A. When your in the garden of the Chaos take out the Memory Card from port 1 of controller A. Then put in a different Memory Card in the same socket and leave the garden this should save the Chaos on a different Memory Card. NOTE: This doesn't erase your Chaos.

Easy Catch
In any level with Big the Cat, when you are fishing and a fish bites the bait, press Down on the joystick and the fish will hook. Note: you can also find this in "Instruction" under Big. It will be "fishing tip 1".

Easier Emblems with Big
On the levels where you have to catch 1000g of fish, catch at least one 500g fish then catch Froggy. Froggy weighs 500g and you will complete the stage with 1000g.

Aztec Forest Shortcut
To get to the Frog and the Emerald as Tails in one step do as fallows. After riding the trolly to the Aztec Forest you should be standing up high on a platform overlooking the forest. If you stand on the edge and look down and to the left you will see two trees sticking out of the canopy that are close together. Fly toward the trees and land next to the one that is closest to the ledge you jumped from. You should be standing on top of the canopy. Walk around the first tree until you fall through the canopy and end up right by the emerald and the frog.

Bigs Lures
Big the Cat has four lures hidden in the game, and you need all of them to get all his Emblems. They are:

1 - In the sewer of Station Square.
2 - Hidden in the Icecap level.
3 - Aboard the Egg Carrier.
4 - Hidden in the jungle by Bigs House. From his place, take the second path on the left. Follow it to the fork and go to the right. Once past the first river you'll find it.

Golden Chao Baby
1.)After you beat the game as Sonic and get the Metallic (Silver) Chao Baby, head towards where you faught Chaos 0 (At the beginning of the game.)

2.)When you enter the park where you fought him, go left.

3.)You will find a stone egg - it doesn't even hatch in a sanctuary.

4.)Pick it up and go out of the park and onto the street.

5.)Go left and forward until you find heavy metal doors.

6.)Go in and put the egg down. Pick up the golden egg and put down away from the platform. The doors will lock.

7.)Put the stone egg on the platform where the other egg was and the doors will unlock.

8.) Bring the gold egg to the nearest sanctuary and throw it to hatch it. A Golden Chao Baby will emerge!

In the chao gardens, a green symbol will appear above a chao's head. Here is a simple guide to what they mean (most of them are obvious, though).

All the original characters in Sonic Adventure have add-ons they have to get to beat the game 100% and to get all 130 Emblems. They also have other PowerUps you don't have to get but make things easier. Those are the following:

Sonic: Speed Bracelet: Go above the front desk of the hotel in Station Square.Start charging up your attack. If you stand in the right place the doors will open. Go inside to get the bracelet.

Tails: Jet Anklet: To obtain Tails's Jet Anklet, simply go in the Staion Square sewer near Twinkle Park and fly up the hole in the roof to find it in a little room.The Anklet makes Tails fly longer and higher.

Knuckles: Maximum Heat Knuckles: To get the golden Heat Knuckles (which lets Knuckles perform the Maximum Heat Knuckles Attack), go to Big's house in the MR. You'll see a ledge above. Go up there and *BINGO*. You've got your PowerUp.

Amy: Long Hammer: For Amy's Long Hammer, you must first have her Warrior Feather. Then just beat 2000 points on Hedgehog Hammeragain and they'll give it to you.

Big: Good Rod: You probably saw the green light under Bigs bed in his opening movie. Once your in the game just go back to his house and lift up his bed by pressing X or Y.

Invincibility glitch
Intentionally die just before entering the next level or section of the current level. The best place to do this is when you come across the third power plant on the first level, where destroying it will takes you to the next level. Find where the nearest street to the third power plant is located. There should be a pit here. Turn your back to the pit and destroy the power plant. After it explodes wait for approximately two seconds then jump into the pit. If done correctly, the mission completed mission will appear followed by a message stating that you died. When the next mission starts, you will have no life, but will be invincible (except for falls). Hidden audio
While the game was in development, the game programmers wanted to implement speech. However in the final version, the speech was not included. The speech was only in the battle system. Use the following steps to hear the voices that they were going to use. Turn on the Dreamcast with no disc. When the system screen shows up, go to CD player. You will see there is no CD when you go in the CD player. While at the screen with the CD Player controls, insert either game disc. Finding Gordo's bar

Finding Glacia
To find Glacia easier, look at the lands of ice. Most of the ice is white, but within the white ice is one light blue area. It is over the mountain when you discover the lights in the sky -- go to the other side of where you are now (over the mountain). In that side alone, look for a light blue area in the ground containing a city frozen in ice. Note: This is very hard to find because none of the tips of the buildings in the city emerge from the ground.

Secret Aika FMV sequence
When you begin the game and pass the part with Alfonso's ship, return to your island. Get out of the underground base of Pirate Isle. Aika will say that she needs to freshen up a bit. Go to her house, then face towards the door. Go all the way to the left left until you see a clothesline. In that one corner you will see, pasted on the wall of that house corner, a handkerchief. Inspect the handkerchief and you will see a hidden FMV sequence of how Aika looks with her hair down.

Cancel Effects
An easy way to avoid getting attacked by really annoying enemies is like this: Cast a confusion spell or get the Swirlmerang from the net to tackle the bigger ones, then attack it right after it's confused. It will cancel it's current attack. Most it'll do will be a counter attack.

Crew Special
After you get 4 members in your party and you begin to recruit members for your ship a new option will be enabled in hand to hand combat. This option will be "Crew Sp." and it will appear right above "Items" in the command screen, for it to appear you will have to max out your spirit points, once you do that choose that command, 2 attacks appear, both attacks drain ALL your spirit points.

Prophecy: Causes damage to all enemies on screen.

Blue Rogues: Damage will vary depending on how many crew members you have,if you have them all it causes around 2,000 damage to all enemies and heals all party members.

Abirik Locations
Here are the locations of the three Abiriks.

Abirik 1: A merchant ship in the Ixa'taka region will trade you this thing for 10 Sky Sardis fish. They can be found near Pirate Isle.

Abirik 2: The Nasr merchant in Nasrad gives it to Aika and Fina.

Abirik 3: You get it for running a series of errands for Esperanza's tavernkeep.

Make fork lifts back up
While you are driving the forklift you can easily make people in other forklifts back up even if they are /or are not in directly in front of you (for example, while driving down a open area honk the horn and people will automatically back up). Be somewhat close to them. Remember to honk the horn!

The Winning Can
When your in Dobuita or the Harbor, go to the pop machine (any) and choose a pop. I would recommend that you choose the blue can on the choices (very left) of the pop machine. If the pop you chose is blue then you need to choose again until you get a can that is yellow. That means that you've won; now take that can to the casier in the Tomato Mart and in your items choose the can in front of the casier. Press A and you will choose a ticket (i chose winning tickets most of the time).

Unlock the 70 Person Battle
To unlock the only good part of the game, first you'll have to beat the game. Then, on disc three, go to the main menu. Select Options, then select the 70 person battle.

See Santa!
Set the Dreamcast's internal clock to December 25 and begin playing Shenmue. You will see Santa Claus walking the streets!

Raccoon Bonus
Instead of randomly shooting down bonus characters, concentrate on Raccoons instead. Consecutive shots at the Raccoons will let you achieve a much higher score.

QTE with Mean Girls
When it is about 5 p.m. on Disc Two, head to the food stand to see a cut screen. The girl Mi will ask her sister for money but then there will be an argument. Speak with the girl at the food stand afterwards and she will ask you to calm her sister down. Head to warehouse 7 afterwards and there will be a QTE.

Real-World Weather
Once you have completed the game and saved your data you can access the Options menu and turn on the Magic Weather. This will access the real weather that Yokosuka experienced in 1986 and 1987.

Four Discs, Four Different Audio Warnings
If you place your Shenmue Discs into any CD-Player you'll hear a different character deliver the message with each disc you place into your CD-Player. The first Disc is Ryo, the second is Fukusan, the third disc is Chai and the Fourth disc is Nozomi.

Play arcade games for free
Be sure you have at least 4,000 yen. Go to the Tomato store in Dobiuta. Then buy either potato chips, chocolate, or caramel so you can do the raffle. Keep on buying and buying until you get the 2nd prize (this takes a lot of patience.) Now that you won the Sega Saturn game, go back home. Go to the TV room (the room across your bedroom.) Go to the Wasteland and enter the Temple Of Life. Go to location with the Baton and go to the altars. Keep pressing B at different altars until the secret unlocked message appears.

Go to the Temple Of Life after you get to the Baton. Warp out of the temple, then warp back in. Go to the first altar on the right and press B when you have less than 100 Cadeux. Then, go to the next one on the left and the secret unlocked message should appear.

Flame on mode
Go to the Lizard Kink A.K.A. Doctor Death, in a long hall with a locked gate. The secret unlocked message will appear when in there.

Go to Dr. Death's Schism Gate and go to where you fight the helicopter and destroy it. Then, go to the tunnel to the right of the entrance. The secret unlocked message will appear.

Camera Tricks
While selecting car at car select screen you can manipulate the view of the car using the digital controller. Just press it in the direction you would like the car to rotate to.

Also you can change the view of the car during the instant replays. Just hit the a button so that you are at the behind the car view. Using the digital pad you can rotate the camera angle as you please.

Plus, while in the driver's view on the replays you can hit down on the digital controller to get the original behind the car view that you see during the race.

Bonus Section in Riveria
In arcade mode you can access a special section of the track in the Riveria stage. First, select Arcade Mode and choose either practice or championship.

When you reach the Riveria stage, take note of the final 90 degree turn in the track (just before the final straight). There would be 2 red cones. Knock both of them down. After you have knock them down, you will hear two distinct tones, saying that the hidden section of the track have been opened.

Turn the car around, then look carefully on the car's right. An entrance would've been open. Drive right through, and you will enter a special point stage, where you will need to drive your car around and knock cones down to gain points.

Points gathered will not have any effect on the gameplay, therefore it is just a fun little bonus.

Quick evolution into Gillman stage
While playing the game, you will see a shell at the bottom of the tank. Keep tapping the shell until it starts to eat your newborn Seaman. After they are eaten, tap the shell more until the squid completely comes out. It will squirm, and eventually after tapping it enough, it will die and the baby Seaman will appear and will be in the next stage (Gillman). Hold A while talking into the microphone to speak to your Seaman.

Talking to your Seaman
It is good to talk to your Seaman frequently. You need to teach them how to talk. Try to talk as clear as possible. Hold the A and talk into the microphone. The Gillman stage is the stage when it will first start to talk. Use these words when talking to your Seaman: Hi, Hello, Hey, No, Yes, Seaman, Fish, Fun, Play, (and more). Experiment, but do not call it bad name or it will become unhappy. Also, remember to feed it in the morning and at night (two times every day).

Shoot the screen
This is a very obscure cheat I noticed recently. This is sort of like the Re2 cheat where you can shoot the camera. You have to be where you've had Chris and now have Claire again, a little before you meet the Steve-Monster. You go past the first tentacle then get to the second one. Line up so that you only see Claire's back and she is very near to the tentacle (but not within its reach). Take out the grenade launcher, arm the normal rounds and fire at the tentacle. If you do it right the tentacle's green blood should splatter on the camera. Once you move Claire it goes away.

Infinite Shotgun Rounds
Enter the room with the 2 paintings of the British Captain and the Facility Model, then go down the ladder and go back up. When you come back up, the shotgun rounds will be behind the pedestal. Go out through the door and return back to the room. Go down the ladder, go back up the ladder and the shotgun rounds will re-appear. Do this as many times as you want.

D.I.J.'s journal
You find D.I.J.'s journal in the slot machine in battle mode. Sometimes you have to play more than once to find it.

D.I.J.'s identity
The person who wrote the D.I.J. diary is Alfred Ashford's butler. You can find this out by reading the butler's letter found in Claire's section of Antarctica.

D.I.J.'s REAL identity
Read the D.I.J. journal carefully and you'll find that D.I.J. is really a mouse! Pay attention to when Claire Gets trapped by the shudder just before Alfred talks to her on the intercom. Mercenaries: Time Bonuses
In the mercenaries game, you beat the monsters to get extra time. The BIG monsters give BIG time, as follows.

Nemesis (standard) - KO 10 seconds
Nemesis (standard) - Kill 20 seconds
Nemesis (mutated) - Kill 120 seconds

The only place where I have found the mutant nemesis, is in the car park area outside the garage. It takes 5 rocket launcher shells as a minimum.

On the area where there are alot of Zombies (the y-shaped alley) shoot the 1st zombie cop as you come through the door, then, peg it down the alley to lure the zombies to you. When they are quite close, press R2 (make sure you are 2 screens from the RED BARREL) and shoot. You can get a maximum of a 90 second bonus.

To get a better grade, and some extra ammo, rescue the people who are trapped in the mercenaries game. Try looking in the garage, the press office, the substation, the medical store place (with the safsprin door!) and some other key places in the game.

Boutique Key
To acquire the Boutique Key, which unlocks the Boutique in Uptown (where all the extra outfits are), finish the game in less than 7 hours using no more than 30 Ink Ribbons.

Defeating Final Nemesis
When confronting the final boss,(Nemesis' final transformation) make him retreat into the corner from where he came from by your rocket launcher, and grenades, then you have to get the cannon online by PUSHING IN the three power sources, marked 1, 2, 3. When that is done, fire the cannon to dispose of the debris, then it will automatically fire again, at Nemesis. You then have the choice to finish him off yourself (this is an FMV!) or just running.

Design Chronos Gear
Combine the Gold Gear from the Clock Goddess Puzzle with the Silver Gear. The Chronos gear is used to activate clock bells. Insert it into the bell mechanism on the third floor of the Clock Tower.

Explosive Shotgun Shells
If you mix eight gunpowder B's, shotgun rounds, you will have enough experience to create the explosive shotgun shells. Which is one of the best ammo's you can get.

General Nemesis Tips
If you take on Nemesis the best strategy is to run by his right side. He is a lefty so he will always try to grab or pummel you into submission with his left hand. Once you're a little ways behind him (make sure it's not too far otherwise he will run at you, then your in trouble) take a shot and run by him again. Keep doing this until he falls over. He will get back up so continue until you see the purple blood from his body. If your playing HARD mode make sure you pick up the item.

Get the Grenade Launcher in the Policestation
If you go into the save room before you go to the police station and mix the A and B gunpowder on the shelf to make C and then mix it with the gunpowder A that you got at the warehouse and then combine it with your reloading tool to make grenade flame rounds you will always get the grenade launcher in the S.T.A.R.S. room.

Infinite Money Trick
Use this method to get all the infinite-ammo weapons and infinite weapons pack. In the mercinary mode go to the area with the dumpster and the hop skotch paintings (the one right behind the bar.) Go up the steps and take a right. You will then go north until you get to the fork. Go through the door and you will be in the deadend alley that is boarded up by red and white boards. This can be done with all 3 mecinaries. There are three dogs here. First kill 2 dogs immediately. Then lure the remaining dog to where the boards are stacked up. Climb up onto the boards. Go to the opposite end and watch as the dog makes attempts to jump at you. Take a small step forward and press R1 right before he jumps. Your character will jump backwards and get a dodge bonus. Immediately after the character dodges, press R1 again to pick up a combo for your dodge bonus. Repeat this process to rack up tons of money and time. It takes time, but it is sure worth it.

Max grenade launcher ammo glitch
With this code you can put more than 6 rounds into your grenade launcher at once. If you have 6 fire rounds in your grenade launcher, and you have 138 regular rounds in your item box, combine the ammo onto the grenade launcher with the fire ammo in it (it works with any ammo as long as the two are different) and the 6 fire ammo should be in your item box and the 138 in your gun! No reloading.

Solve Clock Goddess Puzzle
The object of the Clock Goddess Puzzle is to get the center clock in the Clock Tower to read twelve o’clock. Collect the Amber, Crystal and Obsidian gems from the statues and go to the three clocks on the opposite wall. Facing the clocks, place the Amber gem into the Past clock, the Obsidian into the Present clock, and the Crystal into the Future clock. If done correctly, the Present clock will open, revealing a Gold Gear, a Mercenaries Pocketbook (next to the bodies in the corner) and M.T. rounds (in the alcove).

You first need to speak to the guy who gives you the crystal (outside the Goblin Fortress). He looks like he is digging on the outside of a mountain. Be sure the crystal is on the ground first.

Don't pick up the crystal, and instead talk to the goblin who rallies the troops. Tell the goblins to search for treasure. Most of the time, one of them will grab the magic crystal for you. As long as the digging team fetches the crystal for you, it will remain available (if a bit chancy) for you to gain.

Timing is critical! Make your opponent miss by dodging or stepping out of range, then move in for the attack.
